Rosalva Books

Welcome

Rosalva Books offers books that are difficult to obtain elsewhere, or are considered unusual by prevailing standards. Rosalva is not only about politics; children's books, poetry, and others are planned.

Although our initial offering will be pegged 'right-wing' by political opponents, we have more in common with the Soviet Samizdat movement from the latter half of the 20th century.

From Wikipedia:

“Samizdat was a key form of dissident activity across the Soviet Bloc in which individuals reproduced censored and underground publications … from reader to reader. This grassroots practice to evade Soviet censorship was fraught with danger, as harsh punishments were meted out to people caught possessing or copying censored materials.”

This is being replayed now in Canada, Australia, and in several European nations. The wolves are pawing at our door in the US as well. Pastors, teachers, and politicians have been fined and imprisoned for their thoughts controverting all human rights standards in the once free world.

As North America and Europe battle to keep freedom of speech and conscience, Rosalva hopes to remain an illuminated outpost. We stand against "political correctness," or silencing for political purposes. Rosalva refuses any type of domination or censorship, unless it is self-directed. This includes the Left, the Right, other-sexuals, courts, threats, religions, or powers that be.
